Review
I put this on in the background while getting work done, but had to finish it before going to bed.
There are so many great actors in this film. I remember originally hating that TC was cast, but if you give it a chance, it makes sense. And he doesn’t do a poor job. Forced love stories are always an issue (no passing of the Bechdel test here), but beyond all that,
I have just always had a genuine interest in the samurai. And with this story being loosely based upon real events, I can’t help but find interest in its message and journey.
Now I wanna go rewatch Shogun, but HBO recommended watching Seven Samurai (it’s over 3 hours thooo).
