Still love the development and messaging of this film.
The focus on the importance of language and the complexities of communication, learning what ends up being the weapon the world fears, and the various human struggles that play out over time is so enthralling.
I love when stories mess with timelines, and this film does it in a phenomenal manner. I wish I could go back and feel what it’s like to watch this for the first time… Or experience the way in Heptapods experience all of their moments 👽
